Why I don’t smoke

My natural father, DeVon Ogden, worked in a factory and smoked.  He died of lung cancer at age 52 – a relatively young man.

A study I saw tested lab rats with marijuana and one I saw used nicotine.  It starved the rats, then offered them the choice of smoking or food.  If memory serves, they all chose nicotine.  In a study, rats were too lazy to stop the drug.

Because of the highly addictive nature, I do not smoke and no one in my family smokes.

Do you smoke?  Are you trying to quit?  Let me know what you think?
